Sunflower Energy Solutoins, Inc. continues to work hard to keep up with the evolving requirements of todays standards while setting a presedence for those to follow. The list below is sure to grow as we continue to evolve with our community's best interests. For now we are very proud of our efforts to have come this far and strive to stay ahead of the demands of our customers. Below you will see many licenses and registrations some of which are the minimum required to do business and some of which are voluntary ways that we go the extra mile for our customers and our community.
Licensed Renewable Energy Technician (LRT) Required:
The Limited Renewable Energy Technician license that we hold allows us to perform work on Solar, Wind, Microhydro and Fuel Cell technology throughout the state of Oregon. This license must be renewed every three years and requires that I also keep up with the Codes through continueing education courses. Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) Required:
The Oregon Construction Contractors Board regulates contractors in the state and keeps track of any liens or complaints that may be held against a particular contractor. Sunflower Energy Solutions, Inc. hold CCB License number 173176. You can check the status of our license at the following address.

Contractors License in Renewable Energy (CLR) Required:
The Contractors licencse in Renewable Energy is also required for Sunflower Energy Solutions to execute electrical contracts pertaining to the Limited Renewable Enerergy Technician work. This license can also be view at the same web site address.

Oregon Drivers License (ODL) Required:
Possibly a bit to obvious for some of us but Kyle likes to remember that he has lived for over 20 years without the required license to drive by simply riding his bicycle and using public transportation. Although driving is necessary to perform the majority of the installation work, Sunflower Energy Solutions, Inc. takes great pride in being a part of the Bend Biofuels Cooperative and striving to use renewable fuels in thier installation vehicles as much as possible.

North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioner (NABCEP) Voluntary:
The North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) is a volunteer board of renewable energy stakeholder representatives. Thier mission is to support, and work with the renewable energy and energy efficiency industries, professionals, and stakeholders to develop and implement quality credentialing and certification programs for practitioners.
Consistent with this mission, NABCEP offers national, credentialing and certifications for renewable energy professionals. NABCEP began that work by creating a certification program for solar electric installers--referred to as the NABCEP Solar PV Installer Certification. To date, there are 291 NABCEP-certified PV installers of which I am one.

Photovoltaic Design and Installation Instructor Voluntary:
As an adjuct instructor for Solar Energy International Kyle Bolger has the pleasure of traveling all over North America teaching classes about photovoltaic design and installation practices. Kyle believes that the best way to continue to learn is to teach. By interacting with students from various backgrounds Kyle is able to collaborate with thier experience and give real world application advice on projects for new business owners and installers. Solar Energy International is a wonderful resource for anyone looking to learn more about all applications of solar energy, sustainable building practices and as well as other renewable resource applications.
